Our Services

    In-Home and Community Supports

    In-home and community supports are provided on an individual basis. The focus of this service is supporting individuals in acquiring, maintaining, and improving skills necessary to live fulfilling lives in the greater community.

    Community Participation Support (CPS)

    CPS is intended to facilitate long-term sustainable relationships, activities, and engagement with others in the community.

    Companion Services

    Companion services focus on providing supervision to ensure the individual’s health and safety both in the home and community settings.

    Respite Services

    Respite services are available to all in-home waiver-eligible individuals. This service allows full-time caregivers to get a break and is offered in increments as needed. Respite can be used on an as-needed basis.

    Residential

    This is a direct service provided in a residential environment that helps individuals with intellectual disabilities live as independently as possible in the community.

    The program focuses on skill building, choice, independence, and personal growth. All of our homes are licensed by the PA Department of Human Services.

Behavior Support

Behavior supports are provided to individuals, their families, and their support teams using the latest strategies.

Our professional team will address challenging behaviors in the home and/or community environments.

Services will include the development of a functional behavior assessment and support plan, and training of families and/or support staff.

Desire Care

Desire Care welcomes families

Referrals for hire and provides paid training for all candidates who meet the state-required criteria.

Desire Care is located at 1408 Elmwood Avenue and serves Bucks, Philadelphia, Sharon Hill, Montgomery, Chester, and Delaware Counties.
